It's Terrie (Bryan) Mercer '78
Hello everybody!! It's Terrie (Bryan) Mercer, class of 1978. I live in Retrop, Oklahoma, north of Granite. Never thought I would end up here! I have been married to a very wonderful man since June 7, 1997. I have 3 beautiful children from a previous marriage. My son, Carroll Aldon, is age 17, my eldest daughter, Kayla MaeLynn, is age 16, and My youngest daughter, Tara Leigh, is age 14. Needless to say they keep me hopping. I work in Hobart, OK as the Program Coordinator/Health Care Coordinator/CPR&First Aid Instructor for an organization that provides residential and vocational servies, social and leisure activities to adults with developmental disabilities. Really a satisfying line of work. I am happy to find a webpage for Mangum that actually has any information on it. I have run across several, and usually have been the only one to post a message!! I would love to hear from any Managum graduates!! Especially from my class!! Some might remember me as Brino the Wino!! A name that still seems to come up at times!! HA!

Hi my name is Jon Moore. I graduated from the class of 91. I spent 4 years in the Navy and I now live in Altus Ok. I played football for the Mangum Tigers when they went to the first round of the playoffs the first time in 5 years. I work for Wal Mart at the Tire Lube Express. I am divorced. I would love to hear from any of my former classmates or any of the alma matter. I wish the best for the class of 1999 and the 1999 football Mangum Tiger football team. And remember (TIGER RAG). I have been married to Ricky Moore of Hollis for 27 years. We have 2 children Jonathan 26 years and a member of the class of 91 and Joni Moore. She has a son Dylan 2 and a half and the apple of grandma's eye. My husband is retired from the army on a medical. I worked for Wal-Mart 10 years until my career was cut short by a near fatal car accident in July 96. I sustained life-long injuries but I'm alive and that is what counts. I suffered a traumatic brain injury, left dominant shoulder knocked out of joint and multi-fractured pelvis. We live in Altus. I would welcome e-mail from any alma mater. I will try to be there in the year 2000 for ou 30th. How Time flys when you grow up!!!!!!

I have just completed my fourth year as MHS Baseball coach. One thing I have discovered is that MHS has a grteat baseball past. I am attempting to put tegether a history of MHS baseball and I need help. I have some score books from the past years but nothing else. If you have any old score books, statistics ols pictures or documents that I can have or borrow I would greatly appreciate the help. Here is a list things that would be beneficial.

Phil Raby '82 and Lisa (Stumbaugh) Raby '85
Well, finally found this sight again thought that while I was here a note should be written. Phil and I live in Mannford,OK just outside of Tulsa and we have one son together that lives with us. We have been married almost 7 years and got back together at his 10 year reunion. We both have kids from our first marriages but they live with their other parents Brad (13) lives with his mother in TN and Paul (11), Devonia (10), and Wil (8) live in TX with their father. Our son David (6) keeps mom busy he is a very active little boy, he isn't in any activities but he is always going. Phil is a truck driver and has worked for the same man for the most part of the last 10 years. David and I got to go with him on the truck for 2 1/2 years, what an experience saw lots of country side in the dark. Phil has a local job now with the same man and all that says is that he stays within about 500 miles of home and gets to be home most nights. I don't work yet but am looking for work to do at home, I don't want to leave David at a sitters unless I have to, I enjoy being with my kid too much. This last year I lost my father in October and the year before in September Phil lost his grandfather, we miss them both a terribly. We won't be able to attend the festivities this year but will think about you all and look forward to getting the "Star" to see what happened. Would like to say "hi! to all Mangum alumni. It doesn't look like I will be able to make it to the reunion this year but I do enjoy reading everyone's e-mail. I still live and work in Norman, OK as a middle school librarian. I keep telling myself that the time to retire is now, but when I look at the money the Oklahoma Retirement System is willing to give me I shudder and trudge off to work. Oh well, one of these days. I really enjoy the old pictures of Mangum. Most of my immediate family has passed away but I still have nieces and nephews living in Mangum. Hope to hear from any acquantainces and will definitely plan to attend next year. Y2K notwithstanding! Jerry Burris

Hi, this is Janice (Matthews) Brendle. I have been teaching in Mangum for 12 years now. My daughters Amanda ('94) and Alice ('98) have both graduated and are attending college at the moment. Amanda is close to graduating from Cameron and Alice is currently a sophomore at UCO in Edmond. I have been keeping myself busy with school and my daughters, even though they aren't at home all the time anymore. Hope to see some familiar faces at alumni. Hi, Fellow Tigers! It was so terrific finding the Mangum High School web site and getting caught up with the news of what's happened since high school for all of us. The pictures were a real plus and brought back lots of memories. I'm currently working for the Federal Aviation Administration and am heading up the research and development center outside of Atlantic City, N.J. We work on all kinds of things that will make aviation safer and more efficient (air traffic control systems, fire blocking insulation, airport lighting and signs, satellite navigation systems, explosive detection and containment systems, and so on). I've been married for 23 years, and my husband, Jay Nichols, is the worldwide engineering manager for Compaq Computer Special Systems in Nashua, New Hampshire. We both live in Lexington, Massachusetts and Mays Landing, NJ which makes for a very complicated life! Needless to say, every weekend, either Jay or I travel to be wherever the other one is! I discovered flying about ten years ago, have my commercial, multi-engine rating now, and am crazy about airplanes. I'm still playing trumpet with a couple of groups, and would love to hear from any of you former bandsters out there. I won't be able to make it to the reunion this year, but am looking forward to next year which will be the 35th anniversary of our graduation! I'd love to hear from you all. This is Alice Brendle, MHS Alumni 1998. Just wanted to let someone know what I have been up to in the past year. I am attending college at UCO in Edmond. This is quite a big city!!!
